Clixo built the system Gokul Wholesale, a licensed Illinois tobacco distributor in Itasca, uses to sell to convenience stores and track its Illinois TP1 tobacco sales.
What it tracks
The system records tobacco sales by customer and product, tracks the tobacco tax on them, and helps you prepare TP1 and other tobacco tax reports. It keeps the record. Filing, e-filing and license reporting stay with you and your accountant.
The rest of the business
Tobacco tax is one part of running a distribution business. Ordering, price tiers, the counter and customer credit run on the same record. Those are covered on ERP systems, wholesale POS and wholesale distribution systems.
