CRM

A CRM your team will keep current

Clixo builds CRMs around the pipeline a team actually runs — so records get kept, follow-up is not a memory test, and leadership is not reconciling the tool against a spreadsheet.

  • Pipeline stages that match the real sale
  • Only the fields the next step needs
  • Follow-up that does not live in a notebook
  • Reporting leadership can open without an export

A CRM that does not match the sale becomes a filing cabinet people avoid. Reps keep the truth in inboxes and notes. Leadership stops trusting the dashboard and asks for a spreadsheet the morning of the review.

That is the job we take: a CRM small enough to use, strict enough to be the record.

The problem we take on

Horizontal CRMs are good at being everyone's CRM. They are worse at being this team's CRM. Extra objects, extra fields, and stages copied from a template produce a tool that is "implemented" and still empty.

We do not treat that as a training problem first. We treat it as a product problem: if logging a deal is harder than skipping the tool, the tool loses.

What we actually build

A purpose-built CRM, not a clone of a suite.

  • Intake that lands in the pipeline — a form, a mailbox, or a handoff from an existing site — without re-typing the lead.
  • A pipeline that uses the team's real stages, with the one or two fields that matter at each step instead of a thirty-field edit screen.
  • The follow-up the process requires — tasks, reminders, a list of what is stalling — so the next action is not a memory test.
  • A review view leadership can open: what is in play, what moved, what is stuck.

We have shipped a custom CRM. The client is unnamed. We will not attach a sales-cycle percentage to it.

This is a different job from a wholesale ordering portal. A distributor may need both — accounts and orders in one system, a sales motion in another — but we will not sell you a "CRM module" as a synonym for the whole operation.

Who this is for

Owners and sales leads whose current CRM is a tax: licenses for a shape of business they are not, or a spreadsheet that became the real pipeline.

It is a poor fit if you need a full marketing cloud, a CPQ suite, or a multi-year Salesforce transformation. We build the system the team will live in.

If you are still deciding whether to configure a platform or commission a build, the studio's build-vs-buy CRM note is the honest version of that fork.

How we work

We start by watching the current motion — the stages people actually use, the fields they skip, the report they rebuild by hand. Then we ship a first slice: intake plus the board, against real deals, while the old tool can still run. We add follow-up and review when the board is already true. Weekly notes; no black-box phase.

Clixo is based in Itasca. We build this for teams we can learn the motion from, including operators around Chicago and the Midwest — the location is where we work, not a ranking strategy.

Frequently asked

Why not just configure Salesforce or HubSpot?
If the product already matches the motion, configure it. Custom work is for teams whose stages, objects, or handoffs are a poor fit for a horizontal CRM — and who have already watched adoption die inside one.
What do you actually ship?
A CRM: intake, the pipeline, the records people update, and the views used in a pipeline review. We do not rebuild a full RevOps suite, marketing automation platform, or every Salesforce cloud.
Have you shipped one?
Yes. We built a custom CRM platform that is in use. The case study is anonymized and describes the system, not invented conversion rates.
Is this the same as your Web2 growth work?
No. Growth systems are the path from a visitor to a lead. A CRM is what happens after the lead exists. They can connect; they are not the same build.
